Google is providing offline maps in android version where as in iOS its not providing but you can do it with small trick. Open your google maps application on your iOS device  Search the location which you want to download offline  Select a specific area not a city because iOS device is not supporting large cache memory at this time. On the search box, hit the X button to clear the location data Now type a command on the search box "Ok Maps" without quote That's it. Particular area has been saved to your iOS device.

I prefer to use four digit years whenever I can for better clarity and less confusion. ss is two digit seconds. Notice the period ‘.’ before the ss.
